Terrence Ross Scores Team-High 24 Points
4 years agoOrlando Magic shooting guard Terrence Ross recorded his 14th 20-point game of the season on Wednesday, going for a team-high 24 points in a loss to Washington. He did the damage in 30 minutes off the bench with 9-for-18 shooting from the field and a 5-for-6 effort at the foul line. Ross, who was 1-for-4 with the three-ball, also had six rebounds, three assists and one steal. The self-proclaimed new captain of the Magic had his best game since the team gutted its roster on trade deadline. He's been in a perfect spot to perform, but Ross' shots simply haven't dropped -- he's started the month with 39 percent shooting from the field and 19 percent shooting from outside. Hopefully, he broke out of the slump on Wednesday. Orlando will be back in action on Friday against the Pacers, who have just allowed Minnesota to score 137 points against them.
