Terrelle Pryor In For Solid Role In Jets Offense
6 years agoNewly-acquired New York Jets wide receiver Terrelle Pryor could be in for a solid role in the Jets offense this year, being reunited with former Cleveland Browns teammate Josh McCown. While McCown's starting role is all but sure, the quarterback targeted Pryor 140 times in a season, leading to 1,000-plus yards for the skilled receiver. Even if rookie quarterback Sam Darnold takes over the starting job, Pryor's role should come with its fair share of opportunity in a wide receiver corps loaded with question marks. Robby Anderson is facing league discipline, Quincy Enunwa has struggled to stay healthy and Jermaine Kearse has functioned mainly out of the slot throughout his career. Take a flier on Pryor late in your drafts with low expectations -- the reward could be solid.
