Terrace Marshall Jr. To See More Opportunities
2 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. is set to see more opportunities moving forward after the team traded away Robbie Anderson earlier this week. "Terrace (Marshall) is going to get a lot of opportunities moving forward," offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo said on Thursday. Alongside Marshall, Shi Smith, Rashard Higgins and Laviska Shenault Jr. (hamstring) should have bigger roles the rest of the season for the rebuilding Panthers. Even more targets would become available if they trade away star running back Christian McCaffrey. Marshall won't have much upside in an offense that is currently being run by third-string quarterback P.J. Walker, but he's worth a look as a waiver-wire pickup in deeper leagues as WR depth. The 22-year-old former second-rounder has just four catches on five targets for 30 yards in three games in 2022.
