Termarr Johnson Blasts First High-A Homer
1 year agoPittsburgh Pirates second base prospect Termarr Johnson hit his first home run at the High-A level in a 1-for-5 showing for High-A Greensboro. The 19-year-old is off to a rough start with Greensboro, slashing .143/.268/.229 with a 24.4% strikeout rate through nine games. He held a tepid .244 batting average with Single-A Bradenton, but he also managed an incredible 21.8% walk rate, .419 OBP, and .448 SLG in 75 games with Bradenton this season. He is far from the majors, but his high offensive ceiling makes him a must-roster in dynasty leagues.
