Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez had his best game of 2018 on Wednesday, going 4-for-6 with a home run, triple and four RBI in a 15-5 Toronto win. Hernandez is now hitting .421 with a home run and six RBI in 2018. However, he has hasn't gotten many opportunities, appearing in just three games. If Hernandez could find himself in the lineup more often, he would be a solid pickup. For now, it's best to wait and see if he could capitalize on his strong performance Wednesday.--Dan Fappiano

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts sounded much more optimistic about outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (groin) on Wednesday. Roberts said he's hopeful that Hernandez will return from the 10-day injured list in two weeks. Hernandez was put on the IL on Tuesday after he was diagnosed with a Grade 1 left-adductor strain of his groin. It's good news that the 32-year-old veteran's injury was deemed mild, but we'll have a better idea of when he might rejoin the Dodgers once he resumes baseball activities. Barring a setback, fantasy managers should have Hernandez back before the end of May. The two-time All-Star has been money for fantasy managers in the potent Dodgers lineup, as he entered Wednesday's action tied with Pete Alonso and Aaron Judge with the most RBI in the league at 34. He's also hitting .315 (41-for-130) with nine home runs, 21 runs and four steals. Keep Hernandez stashed everywhere.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (groin) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a Grade 1 left-adductor strain, according to manager Dave Roberts. The Dodgers initially called Hernandez's injury hamstring tightness when he was pulled from Monday's series opener against the Miami Marlins. It remains to be seen when the 32-year-old slugger will return to the Dodgers, but it's good news that his groin strain wasn't all that severe. Fantasy managers should obviously be stashing Hernandez, who entered Tuesday's play as the MLB leader with 34 RBI in 33 games played. The Dodgers called up outfielder James Outman from Triple-A Oklahoma City, and he is starting in center field and batting eighth on Tuesday against Marlins right-hander Cal Quantrill. Andy Pages is in right field and is in the two-hole.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Los Angeles Dodgers will place outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's contest against the Miami Marlins. Hernandez exited Monday's game early due to left hamstring tightness. According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register, outfielder James Outman has joined the team in Miami. Hernandez has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, boasting a .315/.333/.600 slash line with nine home runs and four stolen bases. Under the hood, the 32-year-old has generated an elite .316 xBA with a strong .370 xwOBA. While Hernandez is sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Outman, Chris Taylor, and Andy Pages to see time in right field. When Pages shifts to right field, Hyeseong Kim would likely cover center field.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez (hamstring) left Monday's series opener against the hosting Miami Marlins early due to left-hamstring tightness, according to the team. Before leaving the game early, Hernandez was 2-for-2 with an RBI for the Blue. Andy Pages shifted from center field to right field, while Chris Taylor entered the game to play center field for L.A. Losing Hernandez for any amount of time would be a big blow for fantasy managers. The 32-year-old Dominican veteran came into Monday's action hitting an impressive .305/.323/.586 with a .909 OPS, nine home runs, nine doubles, a league-leading 33 RBI, four stolen bases and 21 runs scored in 32 games. Check back for an update on Hernandez's condition later Monday or Tuesday morning. If he's forced to miss time, Taylor figures to be the biggest beneficiary of playing time in the Dodgers' outfield. UPDATE: Hernandez will get an MRI exam on Tuesday. "A little concerning," manager Dave Roberts said.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
