Teddy Bridgewater Throws One TD Before Suffering Head Injury
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (head) went 7-for-16 for 65 yards and a touchdown in the 23-7 Week 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Bridgewater took several hard hits late in the first half, and he never returned to the game after halftime, with backup Drew Lock entering the game and going nowhere fast with the offense. It was announced that Bridgewater officially suffered a concussion in the game, so he'll be questionable for Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and will need to pass through the league's concussion protocol next week. Denver's offensive weapons would need to be downgraded if Lock is forced back into a starting role against a tough defense in the Steelers.
