Evan Engram Is Not Expected To Play On Sunday
1 month agoJacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) is not expected to play on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Engram has been sidelined since Week 1 but returned to practice this week, participating in a limited capacity each day. He suffered the hamstring injury during pregame warmups in Week 2 and could miss a fourth consecutive game as a result. Unless something changes unexpectedly, the Jaguars will attempt to secure their first win of the season without this crucial target. In Engram's absence, Brenton Strange has stepped up as the clear starter, recording eight receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets. However, his target share has declined over the past two weeks. While Strange can be considered a risky streaming option, he may still provide value in a pinch this week.
