Taysom Hill Not Expected To Play In Week 14
Taysom Hill (foot, left hand) is expected to be inactive for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the wrong direction after missing all three practices this past week. Hill has been a solid contributor on offense this season, totaling 226 rushing yards, 213 receiving yards, and five touchdowns over his last seven games. Juwan Johnson (quad) will operate as the Saints' No. 1 tight end but severely lacks Hill's versatility and playmaking style.

Saints To Move On From Taysom Hill?
Taysom Hill (knee) will be back with the New Orleans Saints in 2025. Hill is recovering from a season-ending torn left ACL last December and will carry an almost $18 million salary cap hit into next season, so the Saints' front office has a decision to make on the Swiss Army Knife player this offseason. He'll have a $10 million base salary (not guaranteed) in 2025, and the rest is in the form of a prorated signing bonus. The 34-year-old faces a nine-month recovery and will most likely not be ready for the start of the 2025 season. The Saints could get creative and look to restructure his deal, but cutting him isn't out of the question, either, as he's also been linked to retirement rumors. Hill was once again extremely unpredictable for fantasy purposes in 2024, with three of his six rushing touchdowns coming in one game.

Saints Officially Send Taysom Hill To Injured Reserve
Taysom Hill (knee) on Injured Reserve on Friday. In addition to suffering an ACL tear in last week's loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Hill also suffered additional damage to his left knee and will miss the remainder of the 2024 season. It's a tough blow for the 34-year-old and the Saints offense after Hill had 188 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns just two weeks ago. He did it all for the Saints on offense and special teams and will be sorely missed the rest of the way, which should lead to even more volume for running back Alvin Kamara. Hill's fantasy value was peaking just before his injury. He should have already been dropped in redraft leagues, and Hill's availability for the start of the 2025 season could be in jeopardy. Tight end Juwan Johnson becomes stream-worthy in Week 14 against the Giants with six teams on bye.

Tests Confirm Season-Ending Knee Injury For Taysom Hill
Taysom Hill (knee) suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, according to a source. Hill suffered the devastating knee injury in the second half against LA and had to be carted off the field and into the locker room. Before going down, the 34-year-old veteran carried the ball five times for 10 yards and caught five of his seven targets for 37 yards through the air. The loss of Hill, the Saints' most multi-faceted weapon on offense by far, is a major blow for the offense down the stretch. Obviously, he can be dumped in single-year fantasy leagues. With Hill out the rest of the way, running backs Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams will most likely see more targets. Tight end Juwan Johnson, who had a season-high-tying five catches on Sunday, should also see more looks through the air. UPDATE: Hill suffered a torn ACL and additional damage to his knee.

Saints Fear Taysom Hill Suffered Season-Ending Knee Injury
Taysom Hill (knee) was carted off the field in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams with a knee injury that the team fears is season-ending, according to sources. Hill will undergo an MRI exam on Monday to determine the severity of the injury, but the Saints aren't expecting good news. Before being carted off at the Caesars Superdome, the do-it-all offensive player had five rushing attempts for 10 yards and caught five of his seven targets for a team-high 37 yards through the air. Hill's seven targets and five receptions were tied for the team lead. The 34-year-old had 138 rushing yards and three TDs before the team's Week 12 bye and is by far the team's most versatile offensive weapons, so losing him for the rest of the year would be a big blow for the Saints' offense. Juwan Johnson will be worth waiver-wire consideration this coming week.
