1 year agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward is on the bench to start Sunday's game against Pablo Lopez and the Minnesota Twins, according to MLB.com. The 29-year-old is failing to build on his 2022 breakout campaign, slashing .227/.303/.320 with four bombs, 27 runs, 17 RBI, and one steal over 46 games. Mickey Moniak is taking his place in the lineup, leading off and playing left. The former first-overall pick is hitting .450 with two homers and a pair of steals since the club called him up on May 12. Moniak's been playing pretty regularly, and if he keeps this up, fantasy managers may want to take a flyr on him.--Spencer Seguin
