Taylor Rogers To Opt For Rehab On Finger Injury
3 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Taylor Rogers (finger) has opted to forego surgery and will instead go with rest and recovery for his strained middle finger, according to Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com. Manager Rocco Baldelli said that the team expects to learn more about the timeline for his potential return to action in the next few days. It had previously been reported that Rogers would likely not return to the mound this season, but it now looks like there is a possibility that he could come off the injured list late in the year. Managers should keep him stashed on the injured list for now, as he should move back into the closer's role when healthy.
