Taylor Rogers Saddled With Third Loss
3 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Taylor Rogers had a rough outing in Tuesday's loss to the New York Yankees. Rogers allowed two runs on three hits in his one inning of work. The southpaw allowed a pair of hitters to reach base but was then dealt a bad hand by his defense, which committed two errors. Rogers still owns a 3.20 ERA and a strong 2.86 expected ERA, though performances like these can happen when considering the high barrel rate and hard-hit rates that he allows. He should remain in a high leverage role out of the Twins' bullpen moving forward.
