Taylor Pendrith Is A Dark-Horse Pick For Sony Open
4 mins agoTaylor Pendrith has been on a quiet tear for the last six months with a finish no worse than T19 (which was on the Japan Golf Tour). He kicked off his 2025 campaign last week in Kapalua with a T13 finish thanks to solid ball-striking numbers that ranked seventh in the field in strokes gained from tee to green (+1.41). From a statistical view, Pendrith fits well at Waialae Country Club. He ranked 4th last season in strokes gained putting (+0.592) and hits it well enough with irons and wedges to take advantage of his length off the tee should that part of the game stay as hot as it was at The Plantation Course. He is a strong play at $10,500 on FanDuel and should be highly considered for DFS lineups.
