Taylor Pendrith A Risky Play At Waialae
11 months agoTaylor Pendrith got off to a hot start in his third PGA Tour season. The 32-year-old Canadian racked up three top-15 results in his five fall swing events, including a T3 at the Shriners, T15 at the World Wide Technology Championship, and a T8 at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. That recent form may catch the attention of fantasy managers, but Pendrith will come with a lot of risk this week. Waialae has the second-most predictive course history on tour, and in his only start here in 2022, Pendrith missed the cut while losing over a stroke ball-striking and over three strokes putting. While Pendrith can find himself toward the top of the leaderboard at birdie-fests, fantasy managers may want to postpone rostering Pendrith until he hits a course where his driving distance can be a true differentiator.
