2 years agoTaylor Montgomery looked pretty good for the first two rounds of The Houston Open. Then Saturday happened. He shot a 76 and look frankly lost out there at times. The result dropped him out of the top-50 last week. It was the first time in the wraparound Fall season that the American was outside the top-15. He will look to do well in the sunset event this weekend and make a few more putts. Another key point will be his approaches to the green. Montgomery missed a bunch of those over the weekend. His -0.26 strokes gained ranks 144th in greens approached. If he putts like the top-10 golfer he had been, Montgomery should get back on track. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
