2 years agoWashington Commanders quarterback Taylor Heinicke will be making his first start of the season in Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers. The backup quarterback has been thrust into the starting role in place of Carson Wentz due to a finger injury he suffered in Week 6. While starting Heinicke in fantasy is less than ideal, there is a solid chance that he will outperform expectations. In 2021, the 29-year-old ended the season as the overall QB20 with a few splash performances sprinkled in. His familiarity with Washington's playstyle due to last year's experience could make him a decent option for Superflex leagues.
