Taylor Hall Breaks Goalless Streak in Loss to Flames
5 years agoArizona Coyotes forward Taylor Hall kicked off the scoring Friday night with a goal early in the first period, staking Arizona to their only lead of the contest. The Flames erased that lead by the end of the period and kept the game out of reach for Arizona despite another point, an assist on Carl Soderberg's goal, and eight total shots from Hall. Struggling to find the back of the net recently, Friday's goal snapped a streak of five games without a goal for Hall and gave him only his third goal since the start of February. With 16 goals in 64 games, Hall's production has been a steep departure from expectation and has left plenty of fantasy managers wanting more. His 18 power-play points salvage his value a bit, and he is still talented enough to be started in season-long leagues, but his arrow is pointed decidedly down in daily formats.
