Taurean Prince's Second-Half Fantasy Outlook
7 years agoAtlanta Hawks small forward Taurean Prince has been really up and down this season, as evidenced in a 31-point game and a zero-point game this year. The shots are there for him and so are the minutes, as he's averaging 30 minutes per game. Usually young guys see a slight uptick on tanking teams in the second half of the season, but in Prince's case, he may not. They don't want to push his minutes and risk fatigue and injury, so 30 minutes may be where he stays the rest of the season. He is another one of those guys that may or may not be owned in most leagues, depending on size, but he should be able to remain on waivers unless a guy like Dennis Schroder, who soaks up usage like a sponge, is rested or gets hurt. That would open up a huge hole for the Hawks role players to step up, and Prince would be a great candidate to do so.
