5 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Tanner Roark (flu) will throw a simulated game this weekend, followed by his Grapefruit League debut sometime next week. The veteran has had a late start to his throwing program after battling the flu, but he should be good to go by Opening Day to pitch in the middle of the rotation. Signed to a two-year deal this offseason, Roark should provide steady innings for a volatile pitching staff since he's gone four straight seasons with 30 or more starts. The right-hander doesn't offer much fantasy value with middling ratios, but he could have fantasy appeal in AL-only formats as a streaming option.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
