Tank Bigsby Impresses In First Professional Game
Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Tank Bigsby led the team in rushing on Saturday, toting the rock nine times for 52 yards in the 28-23 preseason win over the Cowboys. Travis Etienne (five rushes for 22 yards) started the game and saw three drives, but Bigsby was more efficient with his touches. D'Ernest Johnson also saw some work only after Bigsby played three full drives. The Auburn product showed off his vision and burst on a 34-yard scamper, ultimately leading to the Jaguars' second touchdown. Bigsby has been generating plenty of buzz at camp, proving why so many are stoked about his talents. While Etienne is still the alpha in the backfield, the 2023 third-round pick is the favorite to handle the RB2 spot at this point and maybe the main goal-line option, given Etienne's struggles in that department last season.

Tank Bigsby A Decent Upside Flex Option In Week 18
Tank Bigsby has decent upside against the Indianapolis Colts in the final week of the season. The New York Giants offense was great last week against the Colts, so the Jaguars could be in line for a good offensive game as well. Bigsby would likely be the recipient of a touchdown if that were the case. Also, given the game doesn't mean anything for either team besides draft position, the young back could be in line for extra work as an audition for next season. Bigsby came on strong this season with some big games, both with and without Travis Etienne Jr. in the lineup. The two will likely be battling it out for starter next season, and that competition could start this week. Given that extra motivation, Bigsby seems like a solid flex start with some upside in Week 18.

Tank Bigsby Solid In Backup Role In Week 17 Victory
Tank Bigsby was out touched by teammate Travis Etienne Jr. in a 20-13 win over the Tennessee Titans. He finished with 11 carries for 33 yards. Bigsby has had an interesting season. Etienne Jr. has struggled, opening the door for Bigsby to take over as starter. He shined early on in the season, then got hurt, and hasn't been able to seize the starting role again since. He did receive double digit carries each of the last four weeks, but without better efficiency and more pass game involvement, he isn't anything more than a touchdown-dependent fantasy option. On an offense that doesn't score much, that is not ideal. Bigsby will look to improve his efficiency on likely decent volume in Week 18 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Tank Bigsby A Touchdown-Dependent Flex In Week 17
Tank Bigsby has decent potential as a flex option, but is a bit touchdown reliant in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. The second-year back out of Auburn has had an up-and-down season, having some big games and some letdown games. The main road block he has faced, besides small injuries, is the presence of Travis Etienne Jr. Bigsby has been the more explosive back and better by the goal line, but Etienne Jr. eats into his carry total and passing work. Bigsby has gotten double digit carries in each of his last three games, including 18 against the Titans in Week 14. He only averaged 3.1 yards per carry that game, but he did find the endzone. If Bigsby can improve his efficiency and find the endzone again, he could make for a decent flex in Week 17.

Tank Bigsby Scores Goal-Line Touchdown In Week 16 Loss
Tank Bigsby had a solid fantasy outing in a 19-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Bigsby finished with 12 carries for 50 yards and a touchdown and one catch for one yard. The young back from Auburn out touched and was more efficient than teammate Travis Etienne Jr. He finished with an average of 4.2 yards per carry compared to Etienne Jr.'s 2.4 yards per carry on nine carries. Bigsby also scored a one-yard touchdown, a good sign for his fantasy prospects going forward. While the Jaguars seem to be using a hot-hand approach, the general pattern this season has been Etienne Jr. is slightly more involved in the passing game while Bigsby is slightly more involved in the running game. Bigsby will look to continue leading the backfield in carries and goal line opportunities in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans.
