2 years agoFollowing a T14 in his debut in the 2022 Masters, the 31-year-old Oklahoma native is one of 18 LIV Tour members teeing it up at Augusta this week. Without strokes-gained data, it's difficult to track just how well Talor Gooch is playing in his three lead-in events, but he has finished inside the top 20 in each of his last six worldwide starts, including a T12 in the Asian Tour's Saudi International earlier this year. At his peak, Gooch was one of the more underrated iron players on the PGA Tour, and he possesses a phenomenal short game to boot. The long-term skillset matches up with what we're looking for this week, but as with all LIV players, Gooch remains an uncertain projection, to say the least.--Ian McNeill - RotoBaller
