3 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Tajae Sharpe has been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, further complicating his return to action after missing Week 16 due to a foot injury. Without Sharpe (and Calvin Ridley) in the mix, Russell Gage and Olamide Zaccheaus have taken over the top two wideout roles, while Kyle Pitts remains a passing game focal point. While Sharpe has been on the field for at least 55 percent of the team's offensive snaps in each of the last eight games that he has been active, that hasn't translated into fantasy-relevant performances; Sharpe has more than three receptions in just one of those outings, with zero touchdowns for the year. With multiple hurdles to clear before returning to game action, in addition to a matchup against a stout Bills defense in Week 17, Sharpe can remain on the waiver wire for all season-long finals contests.--Jesse Borek
