Taj Gibson In Double-Double Form On Wednesday
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves power forward Taj Gibson notched his first double-double of the season in Wednesday's loss to the Lakers, scoring 16 points on 6-for-14 shooting and grabbing 11 boards. He also recorded three triples, three assists, and three steals while posting a team-best plus-12 rating in 37 minutes. Gibson now has 28 rebounds in the last three games, which is a big improvement from his early season form. He gets drafted as a double-double threat and for his defensive capabilities, so owners can breathe a little easier now that Gibson returned to form. There's a good chance that he'll pick up his second consecutive double-double on Friday, as the Kings are one of the worst rebounding teams in the league.
