Taijuan Walker Will Start Monday's Game Against Dodgers
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies right-hander Taijuan Walker (forearm) is scheduled to start Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was removed from his previous start against the Mariners with right forearm tightness. The 30-year-old underwent further evaluation and has been cleared to start with no restrictions. He owns a (2-1) record with a 4.97 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and a 23: 14 K: BB across 25 1/3 innings in 2023. Walker is lined up for two starts against the Dodgers and Red Sox but is mainly an option in deep-league formats. In DFS, Walker draws a tough matchup against the Dodgers and is more of a GPP flier at his DraftKings price tag of $7,600 for Monday's main slate.
