23 seconds agoBuffalo Sabres center Tage Thompson scored a hat trick and added an assist during their 7-2 victory over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday evening. Thompson would score his first goal in the opening frame on a slap shot. Later in the second, Thompson would find the back of the net with a wrist shot and would add the secondary assist on JJ Peterka's goal. In the final frame, Thompson would cap off the evening with his third goal on another wrist shot. The 27-year-old has tallied 10 points over his previous seven contests. During this span, Thompson has scored six goals and added four helpers. Before this hot stretch, Thompson tallied nine points over his last nine.
