According to Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio, Buffalo Sabres center Tage Thompson (concussion) "looks good" ahead of Saturday's contest against the Nashville Predators. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status during the morning skate, but he is trending toward a return. The 27-year-old has missed the previous contest due to a concussion. However, he was able to fully participate during Friday's practice, which is a great sign. Before the injury, Thompson tallied an impressive 14 points over his last nine games. During this stretch, Thompson has scored seven goals and added seven helpers. He tallied 29 shots on goal, three hits, seven blocks, and held a +10 rating. If Thompson were to return, he would reclaim his spot on the top line and be a top target in DFS facing Nashville.

According to Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News, Buffalo Sabres center Tage Thompson (concussion) skated on his own Wednesday morning but is still in concussion protocol. Head coach Lindy Ruff said that Thompson "feels good" but would still need to pass through the protocol to return to action. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next contest on Saturday evening against the Nashville Predators. The 27-year-old sat out during their contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday evening. Before his injury, Thompson tallied an impressive 14 points (seven goals and seven helpers) over his last nine contests. If Thompson were to miss his second straight contest, fantasy managers should expect Isak Rosen to continue to have a role on the top line.
