2 years agoBuffalo Sabres center Tage Thompson scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 5-3 victory against the Lightning. Thompson's power play goal in the first period brings his season total to 42 goals through 61 games, which moves him into third place among the NHL's scoring leaders for the 2022-23 season. The 25-year-old has followed up his breakout 2021-22 season with another dominant display this year, as he is on pace to surpass the 50-goal mark for the first time in his career. Thompson has been one of the best forwards across all fantasy formats and he will continue to lead the Sabres offensively as the team looks to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2011.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
