T.Y. Hilton Closes Season With Vintage Touchdown Play
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton caught four of his 10 targets for 60 yards and a touchdown in a 13-31 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round. As the only pass catcher who escaped the Colts offense's brutal performance with a solid fantasy stat line, Hilton looked like his 2016 self when he blew past Chiefs defensive back Steven Nelson for an incredible 29-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter. The score managed to put the Colts within striking distance, but a Damien Williams touchdown quickly sealed the deal. Hilton had some ups and downs in 2018, but closed out the regular season on a high note with at least seven receptions in five of his last seven games. In a reformed Colts offense that focuses on spreading the football around, it will be intriguing to see where Hilton goes in fantasy drafts for the upcoming year. One thing is for sure, Hilton's upside sits squarely in the realm of a WR1 now that quarterback Andrew Luck appears back to form.
