T.Y. Hilton A Non-Factor Against Oakland
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton caught one of his five targets for 34 yards in the team's 42-28 win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Hilton's lone reception came in the third quarter when he caught a 34-yard bomb from quarterback Andrew Luck. While the Raiders didn't seem to have an answer for the Colts tight end group, giving up 10 receptions for 133 yards and three touchdowns to the position, Indianapolis' wide receiver core wasn't heavily involved in this game. Fantasy owners for Hilton should be aware by now that the Colts want to keep the ball on the ground as much as possible when the game script favors it to avoid high-volume passing games for Luck. Hilton will have a Week 9 bye to get back on track before facing the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10.
