Pittsburgh Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt wants a contract extension before the start of the season and is willing to continue to hold out of team activities until he sees one. Watt has yet to take part in team portions of practice, instead working by himself on the side with trainers. The star pass rusher is scheduled to earn just over $10 million in 2021 in what is the final year of his rookie deal. For what it's worth, team president Art Rooney II is on record stating that the organization wants to ink Watt to an extension, as well. Signs point toward something getting done before the season opener as the Steelers won't want to begin the year without one of the top pass rushers in the league.--Matt T - RotoBallerRead More News
