T.J. Watt Undergoes Knee Surgery
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers pass rusher T.J. Watt (pectoral) underwent knee surgery to "clean up a preseason injury that lingered into the regular season," according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year was already recovering from a torn pectoral muscle that was expected to sideline him for six weeks, but the knee operation will likely delay his return even further. Schefter notes that Watt might not get back on the field until after the Steelers' Week 9 bye.
