T.J. Oshie Records Two Assists In Sunday's Win
4 years agoWashington Capitals right wing T.J. Oshie handed out two assists in Sunday's 3-1 win at Philadelphia, helping Alex Ovechkin and Nick Jensen on the scoreboard. Dmitry Orlov also scored for the Capitals, who played their first game without Tom Wilson, who was suspended for seven games for boarding Boston's Brandon Carlo in Friday's 5-1 loss. Oshie will be one of the guys benefitting from Wilson's absence as head coach Peter Laviolette shuffled his lines, which bumped Oshie to the first line. Daniel Sprong filled a second-line role on Sunday. Oshie has five goals and 17 points for the year in 25 games with a minus-five rating, 40 shots, and 37 hits.
