Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk Pushes OKC Past Toronto
4 years agoOklahoma City Thunder shooting guard Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk had a season-high 22 points in Wednesday's 113-103 win over Toronto with 10 of them coming in the fourth quarter. It was a great shooting performance by the 23-year old guard in 36 minutes as a starter, as he finished 9-for-14 from the field and 4-for-8 from downtown. Mykhailiuk also led the team in blocks with two swatted efforts and came one rebound short of posting a double-double. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (foot) ruled out for at least two weeks, the Thunder are desperate for scorers, and Mykhailiuk certainly fits the bill. He gets a very good matchup on Saturday against Portland but has to maneuver his way past the Suns first on Friday. Phoenix owns the sixth-most efficient defense in the league this season.
