2 days agoEdmonton Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner (head) will sit out a second consecutive game on Saturday against the Calgary Flames. He suffered a head injury in Wednesday's matchup against the Dallas Stars, and Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch has indicated that Skinner could be unavailable for up to a week. He is officially considered day-to-day. Calvin Pickard will receive the starting nod for a second consecutive game on Saturday. He struggled badly on Thursday night against the Seattle Kraken, allowing five goals on 29 shots before Olivier Rodrigue replaced him for the third period in a 6-1 loss.
