Stuart Skinner Facing Buffalo On Monday
14 seconds agoEdmonton Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner will get the starting nod on Monday evening against the Buffalo Sabres. Skinner has won each of his previous two starts. During this stretch, Skinner has held a .885 save percentage and allowed six total goals. However, before this win streak, Skinner held a poor .863 save percentage with a 0-3 record over his previous five outings. Through 43 total contests, Skinner has held a 22-15-4 record with a modest 2.87 GAA and a .897 save percentage. He has posted two shutouts and has only allowed one or less goals in eight of his contests. However, despite his inconsistent production, the 26-year-old has a great opportunity to stay in the win column facing the Sabres who currently sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
