Struggles Continue For Jose Abreu On Wednesday
3 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in the White Sox's 7-3 win over the Royals on Wednesday. Abreu has been really struggling at the plate to start off the 2022 campaign. He is slashing a lowly .203/.288/.356 with just two home runs and six RBI in his first 16 games of the season (59 at-bats). Abreu is coming off a 37-homer, 117-RBI season, which followed his 2020 American League MVP campaign, so it should only be a matter of time before his bat gets going. Fantasy managers should remain patient with Abreu and underscore the fact that it has only been 16 games played so far in 2022. Continue to keep Abreu active in all formats despite the poor start to the season.
