Tampa Bay Lightning center Steven Stamkos scored twice and earned three primary assists at home in a 7-6 shootout win over the Philadelphia Flyers. The Lightning captain scored a power-play goal halfway through the first period and added his second mark in the third. Stamkos also added with two assists in the second period and then earned his 50th helper of the season on defenseman Victor Hedman’s goal, which brought the score to 6-5 with 10 minutes left in the final period. The game ended up going to a scoreless overtime before Stamkos contributed the game-winning shootout winner in the third round. The Canadian-born center now has 27 goals this season and continues to be a must-start going into the fantasy playoffs.--Alex McKenzie
