6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Steven Souza Jr.'s role appeared to be safe just a few weeks ago, but with the signing of former Orioles stud Adam Jones, it may cost him some serious playing time. What's even more discouraging is the fact that the 29-year-old is struggling mightily in spring training, recording just six hits in 33 at-bats. While he does have two homers and six walks, Souza is one of the league leaders with 13 strikeouts. He has established himself as one of the worst swing-and-miss guys in the majors, and this newly-crowded lineup may hamper his playing time if he continues these struggles into the regular season.--Joel Bartilotta
