Steven Souza Jr. Signs Minor-League Deal With Seattle
3 years agoThe Seattle Mariners signed outfielder Steven Souza Jr. to a minor-league deal that includes an invitation to Spring Training. The 32-year-old could make up to $1 million if he makes the big league roster. He slashed .152/.222/.333 with a triple, homer, and three RBI over 36 plate appearances for the Dodgers in 2021. The veteran hit 30 home runs and swiped 16 bags for the Rays back in 2017. Souza hasn't seen everyday at-bats since then and is not on the fantasy radar in 2022, even if he does make the team.
