7 years agoOklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams struggled to stay on the court Wednesday, as he eventually fouled out in 22 minutes against the Utah Jazz in Game 2. Adams was still solid in his limited minutes, connecting on four of five shots while finishing with nine points and seven rebounds (five offensive). Adams would have been a frustrating play in DFS on the night and has struggled a bit thus far in the series. Adams' numbers dip a bit on the road and with the series shifting to Utah for Game 3, this is not a good sign for the New Zealander. The one bright side is that he should have some extra steam, as he did only play 22 minutes in this one.--Gianni Costantiello

1 week agoHouston Rockets center Steven Adams (wrist) is considered questionable for Thursday's clash against the Utah Jazz. The big man from New Zealand is dealing with pain in his right wrist and may take the night off after playing at least 20 minutes in four consecutive games. Jock Landale will handle these minutes if Adams won't be available for Thursday's contest. Fantasy managers should ignore Landale, who has averaged only 4.0 points and 3.1 rebounds in 10.6 minutes this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 month agoHouston Rockets center Steven Adams (ankle) will be in the lineup on Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The big man was listed on the injury report due to left ankle soreness but has been upgraded from questionable to available. Adams' availability is great news for Houston since starting center Alperen Sengun (back) will not be playing against the Thunder. However, Jock Landale has been named the starter in Sengun's absence, meaning Adams likely won't deliver much for fantasy teams.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 month agoHouston Rockets center Steven Adams (ankle) looks set to return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks, as the team hasn't listed him on the injury report. Adams missed Saturday's matchup against the Utah Jazz as Houston completed a back-to-back set. On Tuesday, the veteran big man will provide additional depth in the frontcourt behind starting center Alperen Sengun. Adams is a fantasy afterthought these days, with him averaging 3.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 12.4 minutes.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 months agoHouston Rockets center Steven Adams (ankle) is not on the injury report against the Warriors, even though there was an earlier report that the 31-year-old would sit out since the Rockets were playing the second half of a back-to-back set of games. Adams had five points and six rebounds while playing just 10 minutes against the Suns, so maybe the lighter workload is part of why he can bounce back and play again on Thursday. He has been dealing with an ankle injury that has had him in and out of the lineup, but it looks like he'll be available to serve as the primary backup for Alperen Sengun in the Rockets' last game before the All-Star break.--Zach Thompson - RotoBaller
