Steven Adams Agrees To Extension
2 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Steven Adams agreed to a two-year, $25.2 million contract extension. The 29-year-old was entering the final year of his previous deal, so he is now committed to Memphis for the next three seasons. Adams finished the 2021-22 campaign by averaging 10.0 rebounds and 6.9 points. He also played 76 games, the most since the 2018-2019 season. The big man could be a double-double threat, especially early in the year while Jaren Jackson Jr. (foot) works his way back from surgery. However, Adams usually doesn't play a ton of minutes each game, and his lack of consistent scoring may be frustrating for fantasy managers at times.
