Sterling Shepard Set To Return Monday
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion) has cleared the league's concussion protocol and is set to return to action in Week 9 against the Cowboys on Monday night. It would be the first time that rookie quarterback Daniel Jones has all of Shepard, Saquon Barkley, Golden Tate and Evan Engram on the field at the same time in a game. It's great news for Jones and the Giants offense, but he'll still be a turnover-prone, middling QB2 in this divisional matchup. Shepard hasn't played since Oct. 6, and he'll return to being a shaky WR3 in this tough matchup with Dallas. His return will lower the ceiling of receivers Golden Tate and Darius Slayton.
