Sterling Shepard Practicing Wednesday
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol, but he took part in contact during practice on Wednesday after missing the last three games with his second concussion of the season. According to The Bergen Record's Art Stapleton, Shepard will likely see independent doctors later in the week in hopes of being cleared to face the Cowboys on Monday night. The 26-year-old has 25 catches for 267 yards and a touchdown in four games this year. His return would lower the ceiling of slot standout Golden Tate and outside wideout Darius Slayton, who had two touchdowns in Week 8. Shepard is still extremely risky for fantasy lineups this week with the game being on Monday night.
