Sterling Shepard May Have Concussion
5 years agoNew York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said that wide receiver Sterling Shepard (head) "may be dealing with a concussion." The team will likely put him through the concussion protocol this week, and we won't have an idea of whether he'll suit up in Week 2 against the Bills until his practice status is released later this week. The 26-year-old caught six of his seven targets for 42 yards in the Week 1 loss to the Cowboys. Shepard is shaping up as a risky fantasy option in a tough matchup against the Bills. If he's inactive, Bennie Fowler, Cody Latimer and tight end Evan Engram will be the main pass-catchers for quarterback Eli Manning.
