Sterling Shepard Finds The End Zone, Leads Giants In Receiving
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard caught seven of nine targets for 113 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 27-13 Week 2 loss to the Denver Broncos. The 28-year-old had the biggest highlight of the game when he straddled the sideline for a 37-yard catch-and-run for the Giants' first touchdown. Shepard led the Giants in targets, receptions, and receiving yards on Sunday. He continued to have chemistry with QB Daniel Jones and was projected by some of the Giants beat writers to lead the team in catches. Shepard is a low-end WR3 for next week's matchup against a stout Washington Football defense.
