6 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard caught six passes against the Cowboys on Sunday but didn’t do much of fantasy relevance with them. He finished the day with 42 yards receiving, which would have been OK in PPR leagues, but he was targeted less than Cody Latimer, and the lack of downfield passes thrown his way might suggest a lower ceiling than many were hoping for. It’s not time to panic and cut bait after one game, especially one in which the Giants threw 48 times, but the road won’t get easier next week if the Bills decide to shadow him with cornerback Tre’Davious White.--Eric Samulski
