Stephen Strasburg Handles Reds Easily
7 years agoWashington Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg looked dominant against the Reds on Saturday. He threw 68 of his 99 total pitches for strikes and allowed one earned run over 6.1 innings. He earned the win by giving up eight hits, striking out seven and walking only one batter. Two unearned runs scored when Trea Turner bobbled what would have been a double play. Given how soft the rest of the NL East division can be, it's not unreasonable to imagine more outings like this one from Strasburg in the coming season.
