Stephen Strasburg Could Make Final Rehab Start Friday
2 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg (neck, shoulder) is slated to make his next rehab outing at Triple-A Rochester on Friday. According to Nationals manager Dave Martinez, Strasburg will throw around 80 pitches or six innings and the outing could be his final rehab start before joining the Nationals. Strasburg looked great in his last rehab outing, which came on Sunday for Single-A Fredericksburg. He pitched five, no-hit innings while recording six strikeouts and walking just one. Fantasy managers in need of pitching help would be wise to make sure Strasburg isn't still on the waiver wire as we could be seeing him make his 2022 debut with the Nats some time next week.
