Stephen Piscotty Day-To-Day With Wrist Injury
2 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Stephen Piscotty (wrist) was removed from Monday's game against the Texas Rangers. He was hit in his left wrist by a pitch from Garrett Richards. He underwent X-rays after the incident and the X-rays showed no fracture. Athletics manager Mark Kotsay labeled the injury as a forearm contusion and said that Piscotty is day-to-day for now. Injuries have held the 31-year-old to just 25 games this season. Over those 25 games, he's slashed .197/.279/.303 with two home runs, two stolen bases, seven RBI and seven runs.
