7 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry dropped 45 points in a win over the Clippers on Saturday. Chef Curry would connect on eight treys, including 15 of 16 from the line. He would add six boards and three steals in an effortless performance. Since his return from the ankle injury he suffered last month, he's been on his human-torch mode, averaging 28.4 points with 5.6 three-point makes per game. Curry is also doing this on 58 percent shooting with only 15.4 shot attempts. It's safe to say the ankle injury is well behind him. In case you were wondering, Curry is the No. 2 overall player in nine-category leagues this season.--Dicky Fung

2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (pelvis) is questionable for Friday's game in New Orleans. The veteran has missed the last two games after suffering a pelvic contusion in a recent win over the Toronto Raptors. Brandin Podziemski has been handling most of the duties at the one, with the 22-year-old most recently amassing 14 points and two steals in Tuesday's loss to the Miami Heat. If Curry remains sidelined, Podziemski, Jimmy Butler III, Jonathan Kuminga, and Draymond Green should benefit the most offensively, although there's room for added production from Moses Moody and Buddy Hield.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoAccording to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry (pelvis) will be out of action against the Miami Heat on Tuesday. He will be out for a second consecutive game due to a pelvic contusion. Curry practiced on Monday but is now expected to return Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic. With the superstar guard on the shelf this evening, Brandon Podziemski, Moses Moody, and Buddy Hield will be relied upon to contribute more. Moody had one of his best games of the season on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks, finishing a 124-115 loss with 20 points, four rebounds, five assists, one block, and two steals in 35 minutes of work.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry (pelvis) is considered questionable for Tuesday's matchup against the Miami Heat. He could be out for a second consecutive game due to a pelvic contusion. Curry practiced on Monday, which is a good sign regarding his potential return. However, he has not yet been officially cleared. Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, and Buddy Hield must contribute more with Curry out of the lineup. Moody had one of his best games of the season on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks, finishing a 124-115 loss with 20 points.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (pelvis) is out for Saturday's game against the Hawks. The multi-time All-Star had 17 points in Thursday's three-point win over the Toronto Raptors. However, he sustained a pelvic contusion after a hard fall and was ruled out after just 25 minutes of work. Curry underwent an MRI, which didn't reveal any structural damage. But the contusion could be enough to keep him off the floor for at least a few games. Without him, Brandin Podziemski will likely take over at the one, increasing his fantasy potential. Jonathan Kuminga, Jimmy Butler III, and Moses Moody should also see more scoring opportunities.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
