Stephen Curry Scores 27 Points In Return From Injury
6 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry showed very little rust in his return from injury against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night. He scored 27 points on 10-of-21 shooting and hit three three-pointers. Curry also added five rebounds, three assists, and two steals, in 36 minutes. After a slow start in the first half, where he scored just 7 points, Curry exploded for 20 in the second half. The minutes were also encouraging, as he shows no sign of any sort of minutes restriction. Curry should continue to establish himself as a premier fantasy player as long as he’s healthy. Also, Curry should be in line for a strong game next time out, as he gets a juicy match-up against the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks are giving up the most points-per-game in the league this year at 118.1 a night.
